We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Transportation & Platform team, building scalable backend systems and driving architecture, code quality, and engineering excellence.
🧠 What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services, APIs, and systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
- Own and drive critical system components and guide long-term technical decisions.
- Optimize performance and reliability across backend systems and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Champion engineering excellence and advocate for clean architecture and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues on time.
🌟What we’re looking for
✅ Must-have
- 4+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Java.
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g GCP, AWS) or local cloud solutions (e.g FPT cloud)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think systemically.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience in event-driven or message queue systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Background in high-throughput or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, PHP, and Python is a plus.
